Scott Smith puts his talents to work both as a key project leader and in the management of the firm. His wide experience, which includes service with the Civil Engineer Corps, United States Navy, helps him as he works with disparate groups of stakeholders to find common ground on complex projects. “In Healthcare projects there are lots of boundaries and territories. “Design should be seen as a process for recognizing these boundaries and integrating them in a manner that creates unique collaborative solutions,” he says.
Scott's expertise in Healthcare projects extends to medical office buildings where he has helped the firm to build a national practice by offering clients new ideas about how to operate as they adapt medical offices to perform many procedures that were formerly done at a hospital.
He holds a Bachelors of Architecture Degree from the University of Minnesota.
